You can trigger AWS Glue jobs on the ‘failed’ and ‘stopped’ job run states in addition to the ‘succeeded’ state. Failed, stopped, or succeeded conditions can trigger other ETL jobs when all conditions are met or if any of the watched conditions are met. To learn more, please visit our documentation.
AWS Glue is a fully managed extract, transform, and load (ETL) service that makes it easy for you to prepare and load data for analytics. AWS Glue is serverless, so there is no infrastructure to set up or manage. You simply point AWS Glue to your data stored on AWS, and AWS Glue discovers your data and stores associated metadata (e.g. table definition and schema) in the AWS Glue Data Catalog. Once cataloged, your data is immediately searchable, queryable, and available for ETL.
AWS Glue is available in the AWS Regions US East (Northern Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo).
